Tiziana De Cinque

Tiziana De Cinque

Channel Manager at Entrust

Tiziana arrived in England in 1998, 23 years later, she is still there. She came with a marketing degree, big dreams, and almost no English. Through sheer determination and commitment, working from pubs and coffee shops to becoming a credit controller for the fashion industry, she finally landed in IT with a company working in a system management solution for AS400. She decided she liked the IT world and the rest is history. From telco to email cloud security she now runs part of Southern Europe Channel for Entrust in their Data protection solutions division, working with one the best-kept secrets in cryptography, hardware security modules, protecting data for big enterprise companies.

She is fortunate, as a Channel Manager, that she gets to add value to her employer Entrust, by enabling resellers, customers, and tech partners to add ” a root of trust” to their solutions through crypto capabilities (and before you ask no, it’s not about Bitcoins).

When she is not hopping around the world helping her channel (not currently of course) she likes reading about advances in Artificial intelligence and data security, advising friends not to do name-tests on FB and using weak passwords, and listen to obscure metal music from Nordic countries while trying to so some lockdown weight lifting in between.

Melissa Benua

Melissa Benua

Director of Engineering at mParticle

Melissa Benua has worked in nearly every software development role—dev, test, DevOps, and program management—at companies big and small and somewhere in-between. She’s created and run high availability, high-quality services for PlayFab, Bing, Cortana, and Xbox One, and now for mParticle’s enormous data platform. Melissa discovered her love of massively-scaled systems while growing the Bing backend, where she honed the art of keeping highly-available complex systems up while undergoing significant code churn. Now a director of engineering with mParticle, she’s passionate not only about maximizing efficiency both in her product code and in her developer tools but also about sharing best practices among colleagues and the tech world at large.
