CybHER Team
Meet the awesome people behind our outreach activities.

CybHER Leader
I joined CybHER because computers have been something that interested me for nearly as long as I can remember, and I want to help encourage young individuals to find their own passion in technology in a similar way that I have. Teaching others about cybersecurity and computer science fundamentals is something that I not only enjoy doing, but also can show others that cybersecurity and technology as a whole is something that everyone can get into no matter their background.

I wanted to join CybHER to uplift aspiring programmers of Tomorrow. A program like CybHER’s afterschool program introduced me to coding in Elementary. I see this as an opportunity to give back and encourage more girls in to explore what this industry has in store.

I chose to join CybHER because I believe representation matters in technology, especially in cybersecurity. Too often, young girls don’t see themselves reflected in this field, and I wanted to be part of changing that. I want to help them discover that technology isn’t intimidating and that it’s something they can master and even thrive in. Being part of CybHER gives me the chance to share my passion with others, whether by teaching computer science basics or by encouraging students to explore new areas of technology. What excites me most is showing them that there’s space for everyone in this field, regardless of where they come from or what their background is.

I joined CybHER to give back and inspire young minds to think creatively and develop fundamental lifelong skills. CybHER excels in fostering this environment. Being part of such a welcoming and creative team is always fulfilling and allows me to share the kindness and knowledge that I once received.

Mikaila Fluth
CybHER Leader
I was introduced to CybHER initially when I attended the Middle School GenCyber Girls camp, where I was introduced to the problem-solving and creativity that comes with cybersecurity. Surrounded by other curious girls and mentor role models, I felt empowered to learn more about technology. This inspired me to be a CybHER leader so that I could give others what I was given. I want to empower the next generation of women in cybersecurity, share with them my passion for tech, and show them that their voice, ideas, and skills matter—and that they can indeed make an impact in the cyber world.
