Dr. Ashley Podhradsky is the Associate Dean of the Beacom College of Computer and Cyber Sciences and Associate Professor of Digital Forensics at Dakota State University. Ashley is also a member of the First Bank and Trust Board of Directors. Ashley has been an invited speaker at several events and universities including The Pennsylvania State University, Bureau of Justice Affairs, Women in CyberSecurity, InfraGard, OSMOSIS Conference among others. Her research teams have received over 5.9 M in competitive grants and contracts. Current awards include an NSF REU site, NSF NRT program, and NSA GenCyber.  In addition to her academic and professional work, she has a strong passion for increasing gender diversity in cybersecurity. She is the co-founder of CybHER™, an initiative to increase gender diversity in cybersecurity. Ashley was the recipient of the EmBe 2017 “Young Woman of Achievement”, The 2017 Merrill Hunter Award for Excellence in Research, 2017 and 2018 New America Cybersecurity Fellow, and is a 2019 American Association for the Advancement of Science IF/THEN Ambassador. She lives in Madison, South Dakota with her husband Nick and two children Chloe and Hudson.

Creator and Steward of the RSAC Security Scholars program and RSAC College Day

Cecilia Marinier leads RSA Conference’s Innovation and Education efforts.  She is the Creator and Steward of the RSAC Security Scholars program and RSAC College Day. In addition, she also heads up the RSAC Innovation Sandbox Contest, RSAC Early Stage Expo and RSAC Sandbox to expose attendees to cutting-edge technologies and best hands-on practices for the field. Prior to working at RSAC, she spent seven years with Monitor 360, a boutique firm that develops new approaches to the vexing problems facing the US Government Intelligence Community. She also served on the Commonwealth Club’s Inforum Board and currently serves on the US Customs Museum Board. She holds a master in public affairs from Columbia University School of International and Public Affairs.

Over the past three decades, Ms. Schroader has been a driving force for innovation in digital forensics. Ms. Schroader has developed numerous software programs, courses, and guides in the areas of recovering data from smartphones, computer hard drives, cloud, email, and gaming systems. Ms. Schroader’s established protocols for the seizure and processing of digital evidence that has been used by numerous organizations throughout the world. Ms. Schroader has coined the concept of the “360-degree approach to digital forensics” and “Forensics of Everything-FoE” with her focus on unique problems in digital evidence and solutions. Ms. Schroader has been a huge industry influence in pushing for a big-picture consideration of the digital evidence. An accomplished design architect, curriculum developer, and instructor; Ms. Schroader has written and taught numerous classes for this specialized field as well as founded multiple certifications. Ms. Schroader continues to support through book contributions and other industry speaking engagements.

Dr. Reem Al-Shammari is the Information Security Team Leader at Kuwait Oil Company (Chief Information Security Officer “CISO”), Kuwait. She is a CoFounder of the Women in CyberSecurity MiddleEast (WiCSME) Group and the Lead of Kuwait Affiliate of this WiCSME Group as well as representing Kuwait in UK-Gulf Women in Cyber Fellowship Program. She is also presenting the Oil and Gas sector in Academic Advisory Committees serving her society by leading programs development to update colleges’ curriculums with up-to-date market needs.

Junior, Center for Research in Engineering, Science, and Technology (CREST) at Paradise Valley High School, AZ

Megan Howell is a rising Computer Scientist interested in Cyber Security, software development, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, and more! Megan is a Junior in the Center for Research in Engineering, Science, and Technology (CREST) at Paradise Valley High School in Phoenix, Arizona. Megan is currently an intern at Arizona State University and is working with their Cyber Security team in the University Technology Office learning more about the field and helping them with important projects. Megan is also involved in Paradise Valley Women & Information Technology (PVWIT), an initiative in her school district that helps to bring awareness to the gender gap in technology and helps to fill it by providing young women with experiences in Computer Science.
